AntiqueSpider allows the sale of new decorative art, decorative items, collectibles, and reproductions. Items in these categories must be properly categorized on our site when a seller selects a selling Category during Step One of our listing process.

AntiqueSpider Protect the Genuine Antique Dealers from Dealers that Under
Cut Prices by Offering Reproductions as Antique Items? |
AntiqueSpider is mostly concerned with sellers who knowingly offer a reproduction as an antique or as original. Misrepresentation will not be tolerated by AntiqueSpider. All sellers that list an item as an antique, vintage, or original must guarantee the authenticity of the item by offering buyers a 100% refund policy on any item that is discovered to be a copy, new, faux or less than otherwise described. Sellers that misrepresent will have their listing(s) cancelled, and/or may have their selling status permanently suspended. We depend on sellers and collectors to report suspected items using this FORM.

can I buyer distinguished an antique from a new item? |
Antique, vintage and older items will be distinguished from new and reproduction items by the difference of the appearance of the antique’s listing description page. Items listed in our antique, art deco, and vintage categories will display our Antique Identifying Image within that item’s title.

is an Antique? |
What many dealers and traders consider antique varies from item to item. At AntiqueSpider collectibles that are 75 years old can be categorized under our antique categories. Vehicles are considered antiques at 25 years. Electronics, i.e., computers and radios, can be considered antiques at even younger age.

World War II items may be offered for sale but only if they are authentic period pieces. No reproductions in this category are allowed. Please read our policies on the sale of WWII items.
