Fixed Price Sales

A Fixed Price listing does not allow bidding. The seller specifies the absolute price for the item(s). You can sell one item or multiple identical items with one Fixed price listing. Because there is no bidding on fixed price listings, all items are Buy Now. If a buyer wants the item, they click on the 'Buy It Now' button on the item's page. Once they confirm the purchase, the item is removed from the seller's inventory and is now SOLD. The buyer is now obligated by the terms of AntiqueSpider to arrange for payment to the seller. The seller is obligated to ship the item or fulfill the terms of the sale.

Make An Offer - All Fixed Price listings feature a 'Make An Offer' option, which allows a buyer to use the AntiqueSpider software to make an offer to the seller. The buyer and seller can negotiate a mutually agreeable price and complete a transaction.  Read More  on how this feature works for both the buyer and the seller.

  • Buyers may not back out on an offer once the seller accepts. This would constitute a breach of the AntiqueSpider user agreement.
  • If a seller counters a buyer's offer and the buyer accepts that counter, the seller and buyer both may not back out of completion of the sale. This would also constitute a breach of the AntiqueSpider user agreement.
